This is without a doubt becoming a very popular hobby among many women. I don’t know about you, but I’m obsessed with candles. We buy them all of the time, and have purchased them from family members, and colleagues that have grown to love making them from home. Many women have even created their own shops on Etsy and Tik Tok to sale and ship their homemade candles.

Blogging

Myself included with this particular leisure activity has become a therapeutic hobby indeed. While blogging is known to bring in income from home, I primarily like to blog because it clams me, and makes me feel good. If you are looking into blogging, it will be a great way to release your thoughts, possibly help inform others and make money on the side or full time from home.

Photography

I know quite a few women who have taken on photography not only as a hobby or a leisure – like activity, but as an actual business venture. They also do an awesome job too. This is a great activity where you can make good money being your own boss. My suggestion starting off would be to create an Instagram or a Pinterest demonstrating you’re photography. Put yourself out there locally.

Content Creating

This, this and this! Income from content creating has exploded for women in 2023 alone. From cleaning, to cooking, make-up reviewing, to just plain sleeping on camera, to comedy content, this particular hobby has brought in millions for women without having to leave their home. For many women, content creating has even transitioned into actual businesses.

Soap Making

Etsy shops for making soap have become very popular this year. Personally, I only buy turmeric homemade soap from two Etsy shops. The homemade soaps have really helped my skin a lot, and they tend to not be as pricey as the soaps in brick and mortar stores. It is also hard to find turmeric soap outside of the internet shops. You can find shops on Tik Tok where many women sell and ship their homemade soaps as well.

Creative Furniture Flipping and Crafts

What do I mean by this? The amount of women that I’ve seen buy dressers for $2 on Facebook Marketplace, and beautifully flip it just by repainting it and switching out knobs, just to sale it for a higher profit is just insane and so creative. Some women also have gotten crafty by creating “how to” items, such making cute jars for teachers when kids head back to school, or redecorating their kids bedrooms for Christmas or Halloween. Women redoing their kids rooms tend to be some of my favorite niches to observe online.
