Millennial Style

I love feeling relaxed with my look. Wearing flip-flops even when it’s cold outside, yup that’s me. Let’s face it. When some of us walk into our 30s, we’re not what I would say “obsessed with our look” all of the time. This laid-back attitude is part of what defines Millennial Style. I would even argue that you sort of outgrow that type of thinking after a while, unless you’re in the Fashion industry of course.

Here are fashion accessories that go with everything, so you won’t spend a long time trying to figure out what to wear. Millennial Style is all about convenience and comfort.

Loose tops

These are the type of shirts I prefer because I want to feel like I can breathe. The top I’m wearing in this photo was one that I purchased from a boutique in Panama City, FL because I love cats. It’s super breathable and I wear these types of shirts with various styles of pants. They fit perfectly with the Millennial Style.

Shades

Shades go with EVERYTHING! As you get older, I recommend always having a pair on you to protect your eyes, and because they are just stylish by nature. They are a staple in Millennial Style.

Bangles

Definitely get you a set of nice silver or gold bangles. Like shades, bangles go with everything and they help give your style a bit of a pop. Incorporating this kind of sparkle into your wardrobe is classic Millennial Style.

Maxi Dresses

Maxi Dresses are the perfect solid outfits for women in their 30s because they are not too much or too little. In other words, they aren’t super fitted on the body, but not too loose to the point where they look big on you either. In my opinion, these dresses are just right. I can’t remember where I bought this particular maxi dress, but I fell in love with the color and the patterns you see on the dress here, which epitomizes Millennial Style.

Silk Button Tops

When I entered my 30s, I did want to create more of a grown-up look for myself every now and then. I fell in love with button silk tops. This particular top was purchased from Dillards, but you can find these tops in other stores like ZARA and Nordstrom. Like the “Loose Tops,” silk button tops can go with various styles of pants (e.g. jeans, slacks). This versatility is a hallmark of Millennial Style.

Jean Jacket

Get yourself a jean jacket! Like I mentioned with some of the other clothing accessories, a jean jacket literally goes with everything and I do mean everything. These jackets are super stylish and can make any outfit look cute. This jean jacket was purchased from Ross. A piece like this is essential in Millennial Style.
