Popular Coffee Shops In Atlanta

Personally, coffee brings me immense joy. There’s something about it that instantly lifts my spirits. I adore a delicious cup of coffee while watching episodes of The Golden Girls, with a side of cheesecake. My time working at Starbucks gave me the opportunity to craft amazing beverages, and OH, how I miss it! Making a tall breve marble mocha, a heavenly blend of black and white mocha with half and half, was always a highlight for me.

One thing you’ll need to know, if you ever find yourself in Atlanta or Decatur, Georgia, you’ll be thrilled by the incredible smells of fresh roasted coffee in Atlanta coffeeshops sprinkled throughout the area. They are an absolute delight!

My Favorite Cozy Coffee Cafes in the Atlanta and the Decatur Area

  • The Little Tart Bakeshop The above pic is one that I took at this cafe and their pastries are to die for! This shop is connected to a plaza with a mix of restaurants and cute leisure stores.

  • Banjo Coffee Small and cute, you’ll found this hidden gem in the Avondale Estates area in Decatur. Just an outright welcoming vibe with awesome cups of Joe with a great outdoor patio. I really love this little coffee shop so much.

  • Revolution Doughnuts & Coffee The most unique doughnuts you’ll ever see in your life. Their doughnuts are vegan, but you can’t even tell the difference between their vegan doughnuts vs any non-vegan doughnuts, they are just that good. This shop has two locations, one in Decatur and the other right in the heart of the City of Atlanta in Inman Park.

  • Read Shop by The Merchant Bookstore and a coffeeshop, this is one of my favorite cafes because it’s just so chilled. If you’re trying to find the next best read with great coffee and pastries, this is your place.

I like an old school theme type of coffee shop. The ones with big cozy recliner kinda chairs, with Sixpence None The Richer playing in the background, while pretending there’s still a Blockbuster and a pay phone across the street. That’s my kinda leisure.

Coffee Shops I am Eager to Visit

  • Ash Coffee – I am dying to get to this Coffee Shop simply because I’ve pasted by it several times and it looks so cool. I will write my experience as soon as I get there.

  • REV Coffee – What is drawing me to this place is the unique mural painted on this side of the building located at the Smyrna location. While this particular coffee shop isn’t in Atlanta (but not super far from it) they have raving reviews. The outside look of the shop itself just grabs you and pulls you in. If there is one thing I love, it’s a unique looking coffee shop.

  • The Reading Room – When I heard that this place had charcuterie boards and wine I told myself “I’m all in.” The food menu itself is pretty wide with various items to choose from. This shop is located in Decatur and I’m sure will stick around for a while.
