I know, I know! Trying to think about what to get or do for a guy on that special day might be a hard idea to come up with. Especially if the guy comes off a little “macho.” Men do like romantic gestures. These gestures can be relatively simple as long as you make the effort to expression them in a nice way. Whether it’s cooking a romantic dinner, or leaving love notes/sweet text messages. Men like to be shown love the same way any other human does. So ladies, make sure you express some form of appreciation to that man on this special day. Especially if he’s a good guy!
Sweets in a Jar
One idea I came up with when my husband and I were dating was something with candy of course. I thought well, he does have a sweet tooth and gifting candy on Valentines Day is a regular thing. So a cool idea that I had was to buy his favorite candies and put in a glass jar with a bow on it.
When I gave him his Valentine jar he actually laughed. That candy jar lasted maybe a week. Placing sweets of any kind in jar is a fairly easy and fun idea to gift that “macho” man on Valentine’s Day. Below are more “sweets in a jar” ideas.

Jam in a Jar (Strawberry Jammin)
Another sweet idea that he loved in a jar was homemade strawberry jam. Making jam is a lot easier than you may think and I’ve made it at home on the stove many times. My husband exactly prefers my jam more so then the jam from the store. I thought gifting him with a jar was a cute idea on another Valentines Day. Since Valentines Day most famous color is red. Making strawberry jam and presenting it in a small mason jar to him was a cute idea.

Amusement Park or Arcade Valentine Date
If you may not have a dinner and a symphony type of partner, then an Amusement park or an Arcade date night is the date for you on Valentine’s Day. I myself would not mind a fun video game night or ripping it up on a rollercoaster. You can throw in go-karting as well, because this girl loves whipping some wheels on a go-kart track. Surprise tickets to a nearby Amusement park will be the perfect love note gesture to your guy. Hey, why not even share a tasty milkshake afterwards to end the night.

Movie Marathon
If there’s one thing my husband loves, it movies! Guys love movies! Ladies, initiating a movie marathon for a Valentine’s Day night with a spread of his favorite foods, will without a doubt make you the partner of the year. Must sure you plan to watch the movie series of his liking. Having a movie night at home instead of at the movie theater, will make the setting for your Valentine’s Day night ten times more romantic when being around a lot of people. Get cozy ladies!
