Trader Joe’s Popular Fall Favorites For the Perfect Season

Alrighty! Fall is officially here ladies and gentlemen and yes, my Pumpkin Spice and pine scented loving folks are welcomed. This time of year, places like Trader Joe’s are especially exciting with their seasonal offerings. I am an Autumn girl at heart and I embrace all that is Fall/Autumn. I patiently wait for this time of the year and secretly shed a tear or two when it is gone. Now that it is here again I am one happy girl.

One of things I find fun about Trader Joe’s is that they’ll throw a curve ball in what they won’t bring back, what they will definitely bring back, and what is brand spankin new. Let’s dive into some of my top 10 must-haves and must-eats for this fall season.

1. Cold Foam Creamer Salted Maple

This creamer, hands down taste like a honey/maple glazed pecan. That’s the best way to describe it. This was the perfect blend with my cup of coffee. Try dipping either plain vanilla Madelines, Pumpkin Madelines in the foam (hmmmmmmm). This foam creamer was a 10/10. Loved, loved, loved this creamer from Trader Joe’s!

2. Pumpkin Butter

As soon as you open a jar of this, you will get a big whiff of a pumpkin pie smell. It smells so darn good. Now, I grew up mainly eating apple butter. I was addicted to apple butter, so I thought I’d give Pumpkin Butter a try. It did not disappoint. This was a 10/10 I really loved this spread available at Trader Joe’s.

3. Maple Leaf Ice Cream Sandwiches

I would give these ice cream sandwiches a good 9/10. I will definitely buy these again. What I like about these is that it wasn’t TOO overwhelming with the maple flavoring. The outside tastes like a soft buttery shortbread cookie. The ice cream in the middle is like a vanilla flavor ice cream with a hint of maple. Overall, I would recommend giving these a try for sure, especially if you’re visiting Trader Joe’s.

4. Maple Sea Salt Kettle Popcorn

Kettle Corn Popcorn is hands down my favorite popcorn. After trying it at a Renaissance Festival years ago, I was hooked. This brand still has that classic buttery kettle corn taste of course with a dash of maple syrup-y taste to it. It isn’t too overpowering and not too little at the same time. This is a favorite in our household. Definitely check out this delightful version from Trader Joe’s.

5. Honeycrisp Apple Scented Candle

This candle is a 10/10 for me. It may look small but it comes with strong “at home by the fireplace” with a hint of apple pie scent. The way I would describe the scent would be a soft apple-y smell. It isn’t overbearing at all! I burnt this candle in my kitchen and we could still smell it from 4-ft away. This will fill a room without a doubt. This candle is also made with soy wax. Would I buy this again….Yes, especially since Trader Joe’s offers such fantastic scented candles.

6. Butternut Squash Mac and Cheese

This was Mac and Cheese was very very good hands down a 10/10. I absolutely loved it. Don’t expect it to taste like the traditional Mac and Cheese. This reminded me of a mini casserole and it smelled so good. The combination of the gouda and rosemary is superb. I highly recommend giving the Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese a try. You will not be disappointed.

7. Pumpkin Brioche Twist Bread

I absolutely loved this bread. It was even better toasted with pumpkin butter spread. This bread was also great as a side with coffee. It tastes like brioche bread with a hint of pumpkin and cinnamon. This was a 9/10. Personally, I like to apply the Pumpkin Butter spread on a slice of this bread before heading to work. Perfect combo! A delightful treat that you can find at Trader Joe’s.

8. Pumpkin Spice Coffee

The inside of this bag smells like Fall, that’s the perfect way to describe the aroma of this coffee. THIS ladies and gentlemen is the smell of Fall in a bag. I give this coffee a 9/10. So an avid coffee consumer, I’m pretty serious about a good dark bold coffee. The bag says this coffee is a “medium bold” but I disagree. This coffee is more on the strong side in my opinion which is great for me. If you are more on the light blend side when it comes to coffee, this may be a tad bit strong for you. This coffee tastes like your typical pumpkin flavored coffee. You will definitely taste the pumpkin flavor here. I wouldn’t say it has a hint of pumpkin but it is definitely more than a hint, which you can savor thanks to Trader Joe’s.

9. Spiced Pumpkin Madelines (One of my Favs that Didn’t Make it Back This Year)

If you are not familiar with Madelines, they are like a small version of a tiny cake. In the shape of a seashell of course. Normally, we see vanilla flavored Madelines in Starbucks (years ago Starbucks had chocolate flavored Madelines). I was really shocked when I saw pumpkin flavored Madelines at Trader Joe’s two years ago. I immediately bought a package and of course they were delish.

Like most pumpkin flavored foods, these sort of had a nutmeg and cinnamon-y taste to them. They have a soft, fluffy texture like a cake and my toddler loved them. These went great for coffee dipping. Sadly I haven’t seen these Madelines back on my last two trips to TJ’s, maybe I just missed them? Who knows, but these are one of my favorite items to purchase during the season.
